I said i have with the play is that it took too long to develop (giving kick coverage guys time to be on them as soon as they broke the huddle).

Of course, I was called ignorant for that opinion.

Could have been called forward handing. It is a 5 yard spot foul. The other team can always decline the penalty and take results of the play.
