Mafah ran wild against poor ND rush defense (nope)

Saw someone on here yesterday trying to diminish the accomplishments of the rushing attack by arguing that ND was the worst rushing defense we've faced all year. No, that is not true.
The only teams Clemson has faced who are stingier against the run are Miami and NCSU. Duke, FSU, Syracuse, and Wake all allow more ypg on the ground.
So what Mafah and the OL did Saturday was actually against one of the best units they've faced all year.
Hopefully, they stick with the same game plan (feed Mafah). Ga Tech ranks 131 out of 133 teams in rushing yards allowed.
Here's to keeping the best players on the field and improving to 6-4.

They to dimish anything we do, I just don’t get it. ND wasn’t ranked 12th for no reason that’s a good football team. Clemson showed how good this team could be and that’s with still shooting themselves in the foot. Once they can get over that hump nobody is gonna wanna play us.

I can't stand it either.
ND physically whooped our tail in South Bend last year on both sides...folks were being VOCAL about how ND was going to mudhole us even worse...
Then we do what we did on Saturday and now those folks wanna scream ND was just a weak, overrated team...G-T-F-O-H! We were basically running a MASH unit and MASHED their defense with the Mafah and stifled them on D when it mattered most.

The winner of this game becomes bowl eligible so it will be a fight.

Do we understand that Dabo doesn't poll Tnet to pick starters?

I got no dog in this fight but 'proving,' one RB is better than the other with a single metric is piszing up a rope.

It's a fan board

You know, where fans express opinions? The quality of player personnel seems like a pretty normal thing for fans to discuss with one another. I really don't understand the whole "you're not the coach, and the coach isn't listening to you" thing that people do on here. Like, what if all anyone said was, "I agree with everything that our coach and team are doing."? Don't really need a message board for that.
It's not a single metric either. YPC, TD's, and most important - W/L record. I'll take a winning percentage of 1.000 over .500 any day.
Then, there's the stuff that you can't measure, like the impact that a me first attitude can have on the team. I appreciate watching a kid go about his business the right way.

Yes - they want an echo chamber. I don't understand the angst so many have with FANS posting opinions on a message board.

I'm not the coach but Mafah looked more effective as a starter than what we've seen this season. It's small sample size but I was questioning where he was when we sputtered in the 3rd quarter. As a fan I wouldn't be upset to see him used to soften up defenses and have Shipley get a chance to break one later in the game.
