Went to a funeral yesterday.

(True story.) The pastor did a great job. The deceased was a Christian, so it was a celebration of his life, not a somber event.
The pastor said that he and the deceased had several conversations about the funeral. He said the deceased had one request that could not be fulfilled.
He was a big Georgia fan. He asked if he could have 6 Georgia football players as his pall bearers. The pastor asked him why he wanted that. The answer was, "I'm so used to it, I figured I'd give them a chance to let me down one more time."

Well, the pastor did say it at the funeral. But, I got the distinct impression that the two of them joked about it and it wasn't a serious request.

I was at a funeral yesterday and the preacher did grant the deceased one last favor .He wanted 10 coot offensive players to act as his offense so he could throw a "Hail Mary" against Clemson. He dropped the ball.
