How is the NCAAT committee handling

Cancellations this year, no effort is being made to reschedule the games we’ve missed so far.

The best we can finish now is 18-5, say we go 1-1 in the ACCT were 19-6...

Obviously our team suffered greatly taking 10 days off, would that be considered in the fact that we took three losses in a row? (Sort of like how the CFP committee considers injuries)

17-6 is a .704 winning percentage.

Since joining the ACC in 1953, we have only had 7 seasons with an overall winning percentage over .700.

That would be an outstanding season by most anyone’s standards, and certainly would be according to ours.

It would easily get us into the NCAA Tournament, probably in the 4-5 seed range.

Only have to worry about 8ish teams.

Still too much basketball to play.... or get canceled.. to figure out 66 teams.

Top teams like Baylor and Michigan have missed several games.
Looking through the top 25...most teams have missed games at some point.
In the ACC, for example, Louisville & FSU have played less conference games than we have. (We have played 12 and they have played 9). Only Miami and Notre Dame have played more than 12 conference games.


The good thing is that we have stacked up some quality wins. The key will be winning percentage....and we are in good shape overall. The number of games won is simply not going to be the biggest deal this year. FSU is a good example. Their overall record is 11-3. They have 6 games left...their ceiling is 17 wins in the regular season. Let’s say they finish 15-5. Most years 15 wins has you at home...but there is no doubt they would be a decently seeded tourney team with that record.
Same applies to us.

I assume we’ll get at least one postponed game rescheduled before the season ends...but they are also running out of time to do that.
