Lot to look forward to next year but a total reevaluation of coaching, scouting, and recruiting needs to be done. If we continue on this path, weāll be right back to 30-35 wins per year barely making the postseason.

No doubt a very poor performance but the honest reality is, the guys knew after we blew the game last night, that the chances of winning straight were slim and none. The game last night was a killer.

Obviously I donāt know what coaching or discussions go on behind closed doors, but this year it never looked like they cared when losing. Grit is a principle of every Clemson team, but this team didnāt show any mental toughness when they got down.
Like Shoresy says āā¦ they donāt HATE to loseā, just a pitiful way to end an otherwise a good season.
Need to come back next year with the want to win it all and show some fight when it doesnāt go our way.

Yea only had 25 come from behind wins this year.

Itās extremely sad and embarrassing to lose in this fashion on your home fieldā¦ last night and today it seemed to me the kids had no energy or spiritā¦ yet WV and Kentucky were poised and positiveā¦ Iām just exhausted with watching us fall apart year after yearā¦Itās very bad!

Well, its very obvious we need hitters and pitchers. We have some but not nearly enough. This tournament thing seems to be hammering us yet again. Proud of this team though and they made the season mostly enjoyable. Bakich and staff need to hit the ground running for transfers before somebody else snatches them. We have weak spots that need to be improved upon.

You have to have, not only a winning strategy for the conference season, but also a practiced and diff weent strategy for the post seasonā¦ or else, youāll lose early in the post season year after year.

ā¦ and when you have that all together at the same time, you are never going to have that āgreat comebackā in a game.
Even the ānormallyā solid players failed to dig deep. Maybe one of the leaders tried to get the team fired up and refocused, but I didnāt see it on TV.
All I saw was sulking, no will to fight back, and resignation ā¦ leading to mistakes, bad play, and apathy. Reminds me of a team that expects to win and canāt handle adversity. Youāre never going to get back in a game with that poor attitude.
I can accept a lossā¦ even a bad loss, but not when a team gives up .. never ever give up!!
I will always back ALL of the Clemson teams, but what I saw today didnāt represent to me what a Clemson team is ā¦ a team that fights to the end.
Instead it was a team that gave up early, and Iām not used to seeing that from a Clemson team ā¦ and donāt ever want to see that again!

I think that a loss of composure and then resolve is a better way of putting it than they quit. Everything seemed to go wrong, you start to press and rarely does that fix the problem. If a couple of breaks had gone our way, then they probably would have responded but it wasn't meant to be. Still a good season. Just not a great one.

It's called recruit better starting pitching. We don't have enough good aces on this staff. You can't depend on one good starter for the regionals. If he struggles then your really screwed like Kanak did.

The defense was terrible and you can't keep hitting batters. Seems like Mahlstedt always serves up that first pitch to batters.

From what I could seeā¦.and I was there Friday night, last night and todayā¦.
We definitely need a new pitching coachā¦ā¦
Too many read to list here but itās quite obvious if you know anything about pitching, managing a bullpen or letting the pitcher throw what heās feeling during the gameā¦..not have the pitches being called from the dugout.
Very disappointingā¦ā¦..š«
