I'm pretty sure he did on the one he fumbled against the other team from SC. Other than that, I can't even think of any time he did something memorable in the return game.

I thought we were gonna try Scott or Alexander. Humphries needs to be used for short passes.

Think the coaches just want to play it safe and allow the offense to do the work. Why else have Humphries back there?

Personally don't agree with it, but assume that's the case.

That said, aside from the USC drop, he's been extremely consistent.

I watched CJD at Daniel HS run punts back. He has that open field knack, plus the hands of a good receiver.
Why not?
