watched movie Hoosiers recently...

Is Brad Brownell a lot like Coach Norman Sale Player by Gene Hackman?
The Team has to pass 4 times before they shoot? Fundamental defense instead of working on offense a lot? Doesn't care about having the a lot of top players like the Jimmy Chipwoods, but the guys that do what he says? Against fans and boosters trying to be a part of the program to help him?
Go watch it again and might see a lot of similarties. One big exception would be all the technical fouls being thrown out of games.

I mean Norman Dale not Sale.

Jimmy Chitwood’s make good coaches great.

Coach Dale was doing what he had to do to make his outmanned squad competitive.

One great player changed everything.

There are a lot of over-rated coaches in college who win a lot, but who never had to play a game without 5-6 Jimmy Chitwood’s on his team.

Pretty sure they won the state championship on that movie. If Brownell was more like him maybe Clemson would make it to the fina four once. But then again Brownell is hiring coaches from Indiana hopefully this helps

Reminds me more of coots coach Frank Martin... Or at least it is when he's on highlights and sports news press conference. Never seen Brad get intense, get a technical etc.
