The media does love to hate some Dabo

Just the last couple of days watching the commits won or lost,the coaches leaving and new hires,Dabo's silence until he had something to say,....the internet gurus are scoring a ton of hits on Clemson... The one thing i hope to see is a " No more Mr. Nice Guy" mentality on the O and D ... Dabo's first statement after every game should be..."The opposing coach's job is to stop us. We have no control over that...Next question..."

Look, Dabo is a different cat and we have been blessed because he is our coach. College football has forever changed and we have to change or die. Dabo is a brilliant leader and he will adapt.

I like your train-of-thought!
He won't likely run up the score like that - instead he likely get more kids in the game.
Ironically - Dabo may have been far and away ahead of this whole thing with the way: "everybody got on the field to get video of them making plays"!
He is ahead of things - I really believe! It's not enough and NIL deals and the easy way kids can transfer didn't help him. But, as far as what "use to motivate players - that being playing time so they could possibly make plays and get into the league - he was ahead of the game"! I think he will get ahead of this current situation too.
Needs more data for the next step though. Let's find up what happens to the average transfer portal player! "Not the exceptions" but the avg. player who enters!
Once that data goes out - this thing might slow some!

I think Dabo made solid hires and Clemson is so big that the whole college world and major networks pray for our demise.
No one gives a shlt about an assistant coach at Georgia or South Carolina because other than a cycle or two those programs are irrelevant.
Georgia keeps a top recruiting class but are always a bridesmaid, and South Carolina program is such a dumpster fire that going 6-6 is like winning the women's basketball ??

I've never understood the animosity that much of the sports punditry class has for little ol' Clemson. There's a few exceptions, but most of them take any opportunity that comes around to crap on Dabo and the program. Maybe it's the nature of the 24/7 news cycle and them constantly needing a new hot take, but it's blazingly obvious that Dabo lives rent free in their heads. There's a lot changing in the program right now and it seems most of the pundit class is hoping the program implodes so that the SEC and Big Ten can play for the Natty each year. Here's hoping Dabo proves them all wrong.
