He incited them and they attacked officers. He didn't direct them to attack officers. That is true. He didn't mind it when it was happening though after he incited the chaos.

I believe that is the case re: the Nassau County Executive and I would assume the family is ok with it, so it's totally their business.
From what I understand, Trump has called the family to express his condolences.
Frankly, if my loved one had been killed, I would not want any politicians unless they personally knew my loved one, to show up.
To each his own, but it's all political when a politician shows up at a tragedy.
However, if the family is cool with that, I don't care.
