While I think the Heels are the better team, they have only managed to beat the coots once in the last 5 tries. I hope that they come out of the gates strong and take care of business. It would be nice to not have to listen to as much squawking in Columbia as I have been subjected to all summer.

Sure Wins- Furman, J'Ville St, Vanderbilt -3
Toss Ups- UNC, Miss. St, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky
Sure Losses- Georgia, Tennessee, A&M, Clemson -4
To go 6-6 they just have to go 3-2 in toss up games. Only 1 of those toss ups is a true road game and it is the easiest of the 5. lots of paths to 6-6 for them

First off, they beat 3 of those 4 teams last year. I probably don't need to write anymore than that to make my point, but..
A&M stunk last year and could come completely off the rails this year with Jimbo and Bobby P on the same sideline.
Also, we probably assumed Clemson was a sure loss for them last year too and that turned out to be a faulty assumption. I do expect us to be better this year, but the game is on the road and I'm not entirely ruling out the possibility of them being a decent team.

Their ceiling is 6 wins even if they beat UNCheat. On paper UNC is a much better team, but there's one reason I'm leaning to USuCk winning the game.....Mack Brown. He has been whining to the media about trivial crap all summer. A team can take on the persona of the head coach (see 2008 Clemson vs Bama).

Heard on ESPNU today that rattler has had an amazing off season and has really hit the next level. Their season depends on their QB, and ours does as well. We do have a great D to back us up and theirs is mediocre.
