A UNC fan said way back in Sept our defensive motto is “we will make an All American out of your QB”. That’s honestly the truth.

That may very well be, sniff sniff, but the truth is UNC is ranked 114th nationally in total defense and that’s pretty weak. App State moved the ball at Will on them early on and they’ve not improved much if any
Just get back to the hate DJ club meeting, please.

App hung 40 on us in the 4th quarter! Yes, 40 in one quarter.

Dabo didn't give Klubnik fair shot at competing for the job.

On the ACC Huddle's on-field post-game show, Mark Richt asked Klubnik the forbidden question:
Mark Richt: Tell us a little bit more detail about your practice. How many reps were you given with the ones? Was it different this week than other weeks, or were you getting reps with the ones all along?
Cade Klubnik: I hadn’t gotten reps with the ones since about fall camp. Maybe like 2nd week. Maybe 1st or 2nd week of the season. And this week they kinda put me a little bit more with the ones, I’d say like 30%. That’s about it.
So despite DJ's mediocrity (or worse) during the season, and despite Klubnik's pedigree, talent, and performance against, GT & Syracuse, Dabo didn't give the 5-star 3-time state-champ a legitimate chance in practice to see if he could outperform lackluster DJ?!? How could Cade have won the starting job if he wasn't given a chance to do so with the ones? No wonder Dabo bristles and deflects when asked about it.
Why did Dabo even start DJ in the ACC championship game?!?
Was it because DJ was better in practice than Klubnik?!? That's impossible to believe after the seeing DJ stink it up AGAIN, and then seeing Klubnik give a nearly flawless MVP-performance against the same opponent on the same day. The prior week, there were reports from "inside sources" saying that Cade wasn't ready. Baloney! Did Cade suddenly become "ready" while sitting on the bench in Charlotte? It sure looks like Dabo completely blew the QB situation by not allowing Klubnik to compete. A few minutes after the spring game Dabo said, "DJ has not done anything to not be the starter," and then Dabo locked himself into that bad decision until partway through the ACCCG. $11.5M/year.
Apparently, Dabo's judgement was clouded by his love and loyalty for DJ. I guess that Dabo wanted to give DJ every last chance to turn it around, hoping beyond reason that DJ would come around, and hoping that Dabo could help DJ fulfill his NFL dreams. If so, then the problem is that Dabo's clouded-judgement cost the team (and the fans) the state championship and a playoff berth (maybe even a natty). It may have cost us the loss in South Bend too. And it could hurt Clemson on the recruiting trail and have negative impact for years.
It also cost us the Atlantic (@FSU-overtime-loss) and a shot at an ACC crown when he started Stoudt over a clearly superior Watson until the 4th series at FSU.
Dabo has built a great program, but he's not perfect. His loyalty-to-upperclassman over superior-performance-by-underclassman thing is one of the biggest areas where he could improve.

It is very disappointing to hear Cade was not getting reps with the ones. I’ve been such a fan and supporter of Dabo but feel like I was lied to about our QB room.
That said fate has a way of working things out. If Cade was taking second team reps that means he was throwing to our only 100 yard receiver all year in practice.

ALL of this well said and my sentiment too. QB position totally mismanaged this year by Dabo and Carolina game in particular. The fact Klubnik never got reps with first team until just before championship is telling and proves clearly that Dabo was propping up DJ regardless of what it cost the team -i.e. loss to USC and no playoff bid.

the only award for patience should be the fans for sitting through the whole season with DJ U, knowing you had the answer on the sidelines waiting for his chance

I disagree. We, the fans, didn't have a choice in the matter. I lost patience about 20 games ago, but I have been likened to a coot, racist, untrue tiger fan, etc... I'm glad it's over. Best wishes to DJ. Best wishes to Cade. Best wishes to Clemson University. Go Paws!!! Go Tiger Nation!!!
