I was checking out the Amway coaches poll and it appears only 5 coaches did not select Clemson as the #1 team. I was rather surprised by one of the coaches who did not select Clemson as #1.

I remember he left Clemson and was an assistant for Holtz at SCU. I also remember he advised (Youngblood?) to leave early for the draft when the kid was clearly not ready. It seems I also remember him spewing lies about us on the recruiting trail after his departure. Good riddance to the guy!

All 4 playoff coaches are voters in the poll. All 4 ranked Clemson #1. I certain it is meaningless but interesting nevertheless.
