being played @ INNISBROOK RESORT (COPPERHEAD) on MAR 17 - 20, 2022 in PALM HARBOR, FL . . . we’ll have three Tigers Teeing it Up . . . and not your usual 3 . . .

Thanks to Clemgalalways® for finding this and passing it along . . . Blake Kennedy, who turned Pro in 2016 is making his first PGA Start since the Wells Fargo Open in 2017!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations for gutting it out and playing his way into the tournament through the Monday Qualifier where he shot a nice -5 to open this door!!!

Nope. Didn't miss anyone... Sadly. Turk shot a clean -6 and came up one stroke short of making the playoff for the final spots. He birdied just one of the 4 par 5's. The 3 he didn't birdie was playing like 4.2 to the field. Quite a few eagles too as the yardage was 520 -540 ish.

Sidenote: you may notice Owen Boyd qualified by shooting a stellar -9. We tried to recruit the kid but he chose Wake. He's still in high school.

Thanks as always for @Skeeta56 for taking his valuable time to put this tournament information together for us to share. Please TU his posts as I know many of you it's easy to check in on the link all week and weekend. He posts some wonderful pictures of our Lady softballers. A picture really can paint a thousand words.

All you guys taught me how to follow the qualifier events. Thank you for that. Gosh, how great would it be for Blake to make the cut and finish at least top 10. It sounds like he plays the Latin tour which I rarely keep up with. Per the article, his one and only PGA start he missed the cut. I would imagine this is a really big deal for him.

hopefully another good weekend on the tour for our guys who are playing at the Valspar and then in a little over 2 weeks at the Valspar Invitational down in Palm City,Florida at the Floridian Golf Club coach Jordan Byrd and his Tigers play in what will be their 2nd of 4 tournaments down in the sunshine state,definitely a lot to look forward too on the course from Clemson current and past

Thanks for this! That is not a name I normally look for when checking on our former Tigers.

Speaking of Monday Qualifiers, just in case anyone missed it, Bryson Nimmer finished T1 at the Corales Puntacana Championship Qualifier on Monday, March 07. I assume they did it the week of the Players since no one in the field of the Players would need to be trying to Monday qualify for an alternate field event. So, Bryson will be playing in the Dominican Republic event next week as the alternate for the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play.
