I honestly never turned it on to begin with. However, the results are worse than I had imagined. I can think of a worse scenario for Clemson than UGA being the premier college football program, which they absolutely are. I can see Kirby playing the sound bite of Dabo and the NIL of God nonsense and having a good laugh with recruits we’re both going after.

and if it wasn't for the odd flatulence about it on Tigernet, I wouldn't know who was winning.
Dabo is lagging his peers in using the new landscape to make the program better. Hopefully, we truly have all the pieces already on the roster, and there are no injuries. Portal can give quality depth if nothing else, so...
Maybe the NCAA comes through and adds common sense reforms like sitting out a year when you transfer. If not, we need perfect luck for injuries and on nailing a few diamond in the rough recruits to hit the peak again.

Portal players are leaving team X because they weren't happy with playing time. They're not quitting one school to be a backup at another. We add depth through development. Portal players may be good for fixing a hole at a starting position, but they're not moving around to be, "added depth" and program building.
The difference in us not winning more than "only" 11 games this year wasn't the portal. And we're not currently looking for any portal starters to come in and replace anyone going into next year.

I haven't watched it at all. There was no chance that TCU would win, and I don't watch dawgs. It would have been nice to have a different team win.

First time in a long time I've turned off a college football game but life is too short to waste it watching a totally lopsided football game. I can't imagine a lot of folks outside of the leghumper homers stuck around to watch it all.
