When the OU AD came to Clemson for a visit. There was probably problems at OU that they recognized in August and the OU AD made a trip to Clemson to start getting his coach. I have a feeling all this has been in the works since then, and Dabo and Brent have had all all this worked out.

Yes this is basically common knowledge at this point.

The only mistake was a loss at Pitt.

The UGA and NC State losses were planned to get Clemson out of the running for the playoff early enough in the season that the coordinators could go ahead and start looking to make moves.

Both of them have said in the past that they can't stand the thought of being a distraction to a title run by taking interviews and having their players worry that they will leave them in the biggest moment.

Dabo loves his coaches so much that he decided to sacrifice one national title season so his coordinators could advance in their careers. This will pay major dividends as we move forward with attracting the best and brightest interns who know they will get to be coordinators at Clemson in just a few years.

I have heard that everyone involved was very upset after the Pitt loss because they hoped to keep the ACC title streak alive in spite of tanking out of the playoff for the coaches. There was a glimmer of hope late, but it turns out everyone involved was correct that we should have gone 7-1 in conference play instead of 6-2.

The best news is that out of appreciation for Dabo's sacrifice, the now former assistant coaches are going to be forming a non-profit organization to help fund Clemson's NIL deals out of their own pocket since they are no longer directly affiliated with Clemson University.

I think this really is best in this new world of college football.

Dabo is still playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

This TigersO is brilliant. He saw us throwing the Georgia and NCState games as apart of the plan. I wished you would have let me know so I would have not lost so much money on those games.

If too many people knew then the entire plan would have fallen apart.

Sorry for your loss, but you should have made it back in folds once the Tigers hit their stride and starting beating spreads every week right?








Also I am very surprised that very few took this in as the sarcasm that it was.
