Win in this sense.
Clemson is paying the fourth highest salary for a head coach in all of college football. In total they have the highest paid coaching staff of any college football team. With that as a fact the tigers should never perform so badly as to be unranked and struggle against a team like Syracuse.

Is Tony Elliott worth 1.6 million for this pathetic offense?
With as much money as is being paid out to this coaching staff, Clemson admin and fans have a right to expect far better performance.

Last night Syracuse, whose head coach make less than half of what Dabo makes and their OC that makes 1/4 the salary of Elliott and has to be the quarterbacks coach as well, kept up with Clemson step for step all game long.
