The used to be a decent one by the sports book at the MGM. Had breakfast in there a couple of years ago when we beat the brakes of Miami, then watched TN choke one against Bama then finished the night back there with the rambling wreck blocking a kick and scoring a td against the noles.

I like the Golden Nugget, but it's downtown, not on strip. I hate the strip. Strip is for shopping. Downtown is for gambling. If you are on strip, Mandalay Bay is my choice.

I was just at Vegas 1 month ago. The Sports Bar at the Golden Nugget is a snooze fest. Avoid. I'd stick with the strip casinos for the best place to watch. Caesar's is top of the list for me. MGM and Madalay are pretty good too.
I stayed at the Nugget, I agree gambling is best done downtown, not at the strip.

Does reservation have to be made at MGM to watch the game?

It's all first come, first serve (unless you are a very high roller). Every major casino has a great sports book, bar and viewing area. In addition to the MGM, try the Mandalay Bay (my favorite), the Mirage, and Caesars if you are mid-strip to South Strip. If you are downtown (and there is a great distance between the Strip and Downtown) the Golden Nugget is the preferred spot.

Snooze fest? I guess that's one way to put it. Serious gamblers and peaceful is how I would see it. The crazy sports book used to be at Planet Hollywood. Not sure about now

Actually, space food sucks. It's like eating toothpaste, from what I hear.

I hear Vegas is a terrible place to watch sports due to a lack of tv's. Don't go.
