I'm here as a staunch supporter of it. I think it definitely adds a little something extra to it.
Also, Zombie Nation is awful and I wish we'd stop playing it. Makes no sense whatsoever. We're not Zombie's nor a nation.

You'll notice that the woohoo is audible back to around 1999 or so. That's (at least) 14 years of people doing the woohoo and nobody has managed to get them to stop or replace it with something else. At this rate, people are gonna do the woohoo next year and the next and the next...pretty soon people will have been woohooing for 20 years.
The CLEMSON spellout at the end of Tiger Rag has only been around since the mid-80s, so how long does something have to be around before it's a "tradition?" They already refer to Tiger Walk as one.
Still not a fan of the woohoo though. But doubt it's going to go anywhere.
