quiz of the year, who can answer? how many pick sixes does it take for a coach to play number his number 1 recruit in nation? question 2. how many coaches in nation would continue to play quarterback after he threw 6 pick sixes that literally lost team six games? 3. how many pick sixes has dj thrown? 4. the only way to salvage season and to change perception of clemson football is by playing cade rest of season. due to dabos lovefest with dj why will this not happen? question 5. how many fake clemson fans will complain about this post n call me a coot to which i wont care at all? if you got all ? correct youre a true tiger fan that realized if cade started we would be in national championship. if you got any wrong, get out of my face

Last time I checked Clemson was 8-1 and going to the ACC championship game. If you think it’s that easy to get into the playoffs ask anybody but Alabama as Clemson has the second most appearances

the playoffs arent done. start cade we beat every team by 50 plus, we are best 1 loss team, we change perception of our team w cade as starter we get in playoffs

Dont care who is QB, this is not a playoff caliber team. Not enough talent this year offensively anywhere. May as well accept it. Hopefully we can get back to what we had soon but this year we just dont have it. Hell we only run 5 plays seems like.

#2 QB come in, there have been interceptions. The only times he has succeeded were in the Furman game and the Syracuse (where he basically handed off the ball every play).
We would be in worse condition. But, you keep on trollin'.

Bro ND lost at home to MARSHALL & STANFORD if you haven’t noticed those teams aren’t world beaters and we just got smoked by them.
Cade isn’t Trevor we wouldn’t have won a natty with him starting that’s just orange tented glasses talkin. Have you seen UGA? They’re pretty #### good again. Start Cade let him develop and make mistakes and work on those in the offseason. Get ready for 2023.

Cabe has a chance to be good but hasn't really done much when he enters the game. DJ was much better as a FROSH then Cabe has been. DJ threw for almost 1,000 yards in his freshman campaign. Cabe hasn't hit 100 yards yet.

Answer:
We've watched over 20 starts for DJ. None have been impressive and even fewer give the fan base the idea that he knows what he's doing. WR's are sub-par of what we used to recruit. Play-calling is atrocious. All of this can be quantified to a few coaches: Streeter, Grisham - and Sweeney, who's responsible for Streeter's atrocious play calling and QB development and Grishams non-existent WR's.
Question:
What is our entire professional coaching staff not seeing?
Answer:
A RB coach who whiffs on recruits (4-cycles in a row). A WR coach that brings in sub-par talent who clearly can't develop it. A head-coach that refuses to make the needed coaching-staff calls until the fans demand it (Elliot and Caldwell), A d-line coach who can't seem to pull our "amazing" Dline up to it's potential. A DB coach who's DB's have been getting burned since the Clemson/LSU natty and a staff that pulls in the absolute LEAST amount of recruits possible each cycle knowing **** well that some are going to transfer....
Any other "elaborations" that need to be spoon fed to you?

Out of curiosity, we whiffed on Shipley? Mafa? Pace?
Dabo doesn't make changes until "fans demand it"? Well, partially true only because bi-polar so-called "fans" will "demand" entire coaching staffs to be fired in the 2nd quarter down 14-0 en route to losing the nation's longest winning streak. Man can't interview new candidates at halftime.

Answer:
I've seen QB throw more pick-sixes in 2 years than any of our previous ones did in their entire career. I've seen a QB that can't read a field, can't extend plays (unless designed to - and even then it's 50/50), has ZERO competitive-spirit, comes with a weekly "getting-better to-do list", seemingly has little-to-no on-field leadership abilities, who threw more INT's last season than TD's, who struggled his A** off with GT, Syracuse, LATech, Wake Forest, NC State, etc.....teams we should have buried most years. Kinda hard to "see" what the highest rated QB in hs football can do when we're so attached to making DJU sh*t the bed every week.

Well aware. But they're d*mn sure involved in knowing WHO the kid is, their talents, weaknesses, strengths and developing their skills to what Clemson needs. FAIL.

Shipley came to us over ND and UNC - neither of whom have any recent pedigree of success and we had no starter.
Mafaa's other heavy suitors for recruitment were Arizona, Duke and Auburn...top pedigree right there.

Our OLine was atrocious for years under Caldwell. How many variations did we have last season? Offense was atrocious under Elliot. One was a former head coach of world-beater, Vanderbilt, the other was a former engineer for Michelin....
Being down 14-0 to a team that had their @**es handed to them by Stanford shows that the CU staff udderly failed with their bye-week...and this is after we rallied to come back to beat SYRACUSE.
Man can't interview new candidates at half time? Seems he can't interview them EVER so we just hire former players with little to no experience.

Cade isn't very good right now either. And that means Hunter Johnson must be abysmal.
DJ looked very good the first few games....then last year's problems showed up again. Basically he just locks on to a receiver and doesn't make reads through his progressions.
Need to go back to the two back set with a bunch of pulls to finish the season.

Cade has looked absolutely clueless when he’s been in in every game other than GT. He did NOTHING against cuse but run the ball. If you really think that Cade is better than DJ at this point, you have absolutely no idea what you are watching on Saturday.

DJ isn't the problem at all.
Our coaching is the problem.
We have a 5 star QB, with 4 and 5 star skill position players around him, and a capable offensive line, but we stink on offense. There is NO EXCUSE for us to be as bad as we are on offense. NONE.
It shouldn't take a Deshaun Watson or a Trevor Lawrence for our offensive scheme to be successful.
It is our coaches' job to coach and develop our talent, and use schemes and play calls to put them in a position to excel. That isn't currently happening.

I agree. I’d rather lose every single remaining game with Cade and new receivers than squeak by or split with DJ. That accomplishes us absolutely positively nothing at all going forward. We need to know NOW if Cade can improve over the course of a game or several and if we have any receivers that actually want to catch the ball. If not, no problem, we have a nice tool called the transfer portal for bringing in someone who wants it! Its time to make big time business decisions instead of beat this long dead horse more and call it a great season cause we won most of our games.
