Kirk found some bunker issues on one hole that I remember that hurt him. Shot E but definitely did not have his A game yesterday.

Really happy for Sam. His card yesterday. 1 par on front 9. But he only had 7 bogeys for the tournament. 23 birdies... good sign.

All In all, good points for Ben, Sam, and Jacob. Maybe one of these days we'll see one hoist a trophy.

Thanks for the wrap.

Ben crossed the $1M mark for the season and is 75th in the FedEx Cup standings. Playing some good golf now that he's healthy.

Ben also continues to climb the PGA Championship Points list. He is now up to 108. Note that Lucas is at 89.

The top 70 on this list earn a spot in the PGA Championship if not already exempt. However, they often take some from below the top 70 to fill out the field of 156. So, the closer to the top 70, the better the chances of earning a spot.

That 10th place tie getting our guys ~$206,000 is certainly

pretty doggone good from a bank perspective. I remember an article years ago where Jack Nicklaus said the biggest purse he ever won on the PGA Tour (for WINNING the tournament, obviously) was $200,000.

You can love him or hate him, but these huge purses the guys play for nowadays are the result of one man, Tiger Woods. He STILL moves the attendance needle, even at age 47.
