Sure I think the final second call was questionable, but good teams don't turn the ball over three times in the last minute and a half. Just sloppy. Girard hasn't stepped up in the big games...his shot is off. Clemson has a good team, just not great.

We shouldn’t have to play a perfect game to win one of these. Just a fair game.
- bogus technical
- bogus high screen foul just when we are gaining momentum
- last 4 min. Every post up gets a foul on our end. No foul when they rape PJ over the back. Fouls on PJ ans Shef were phantom
- no foul when Joe G get ls manslaughtered on rebound

Review replays and Duke player initiated contact and walked on last call.
The no call on Girard was simply atrocious. Refs should be disciplined for biased calls that clearly changed the outcome.
So yes the refs are to blame.

If you want or need to place blame you can blame the refs. Or you can blame the turnovers, or poor 3 point shooting, or calling timeout when Duke didn’t have any left and badly needed one, or missing layups when getting fouled, or not making Duke take more time getting the ball up the court in the last possession, or not taking the ball right at Filipowski every possession after he came back in the game with 4 fouls and almost 5 minutes left. All of those things contributed.
Bottom line is we didn’t do what we had to to win the game. Kinda like our football team at Duke this year. Now let’s move on to figuring out how to beat Louisville Tuesday.

We played pretty good against a top ranked team that would not have won if refs had called a fair game.
We’ve seen this before and most fans across the ACC know unc and dook get preferential calls against acc teams.
The announcers pointed out the bad calls as well.
Duke was pushed to the limit and won by 1. I’m sure they feel lucky. The refs dominated yesterday and their effort was obvious.

The non-calls were egregious, there is no question about it. Dook getting bailed out by tobacco road refs is nothing new. I can remember many games where Dook was the beneficiary of some "questionable" calls in the closing seconds. Many. To me, it's just another reason we have to get out of the ACC. Stat.

lets see, they missed a walk and they call a foul on a shot in the last second... sh*t refereeing...
yea bad pass for the turnover, but they battled back and made the free throws... pretty sure Brad does not teach that...
cannot believe Hll missed the lay-up on the touch foul previously, don't think he could either.
They do have to learn to play to the finish...
