The difference between those four teams and us?

Receivers! Fast, know how to get open, can catch a football. Spector is not a D1 receiver on any trait. Beaux slow, no separation. Ngata slow - his only trait is 50/50 and he was probably 1/20 on the year. Randall is never open. Antonio has good hands, but no burners. No idea why we wasted a scholly on Stellato. Cole Turner is 120 pounds with 13” vert and best receiver in two years? Please get in weight room. No idea why Swinney is playing during crunch time. There are no other receivers available?

All true except AW seems to be a great slot wr. Don’t have to be a burner there, just quick and he is that. WR is only one of our mounting problems….

We had blocking issues on the Tennessee blitz and never really got it fixed...we moved the ball up & down the field had trouble in the red zone and with our kicker of all things...we still have a defense except on a skinny post...really need another Turner back there...safety must be smart!

According to most on this board QB was the only issue with this team

I guess it took an orange bowl beat down to destroy that narrative.
The REAL differences in those 4 and Clemson is a combination of:

Clemson has the best coaches! The portal is not the answer to anything except for 2 and third string guys who have been told their entire life that they are the best but they are not! The portal will be the death of college sports!

“Clemson has the best Coaches”. You can’t really

Believe that. I’m sure they are all great guys, but they certainly are not the best fundamental Coaches we could have. Go Tigers and hope Dabo makes some changes.

I think Dabo has to make some offensive changes to keep Clemson relevant.
Look no further than the games yesterday. Is our offensive scheme in the same universe as Alabama, TCU, Michigan, Ohio State or Georgia?
Facts are facts. 1) You can’t win in today’s game with a dependency on 12 to 15 play drives. Defenses are too good. 2) Our OL is subpar and we don’t have BIG playmakers. 3) If you haven’t recruited the HS talent to compete, it must be acquired elsewhere to be competitive. TCU made the jump this year because of 16 portal transfers.
Clemson’s “CFP-level drop off” was caused by: 1) Decreased talent level at the offensive skill positions. 2) The loss of 2 highly-experienced coordinators. 3) Filling the coordinator and open coaching positions with less-experienced staff.

Also, our players need more time in the weight room. We have a lot of young guys. We played 8 true frosh. We will be young again next season. I think we are 2 years way from kicking it up again for a few years. We will have our moments.
