The Alliance vs SEC thing is..

All helping set up the NCFL.

This is the beginning of an AFC/NFC style system where the championship game will be a college Super bowl with the winners of each playoffs playing each other. They will just create 2 separate 4 team playoffs with a super bowl at the end.

It will still result in Clemson vs Bama for most years lol.

A real alliance would be to refuse to include the SEC in anything. Take all D1 teams and exclude the SEC from playing against those teams in regular season or playoffs. That would financially kill the SEC and it would be hilarious. But that’s not going to happen because everyone is scared of ESPN. It would be the real turning point, think about it.

Colleges and the village like element that comes with it

for sports is very special. Colors. Fight songs. Rivalries. Cheers. The foods and libations. Super conferencing or pro-like division stuff robs us of more natural, in the hood style fall experiences.

We are a great brand, Clemson, and look amazing on the telly. Seriously, all the God's Country and orange and togetherness fills a lit rectangle like no one else. There's something in those hills. Great that it translates over to the tube so well.

Clemson controls its own destiny here no matter how it goes. I wouldn't put it past our guys at the top right now to help lead the way actually.
