Greg Cosell on Cowherd just said he'd take Sammy Watkins

over any quarterback in the draft. It's a...(weak)...draft for quarterbacks, but Sammy Watkins is that good."
In an NFL that favors passing and wideouts that can open up the the whole field for an offense, don't rule that youngster out for Number 1.

As much as I would love that, I can't imagine the texans drafting another 1st round wr with Hopkins and pro bowler Johnson.

still get a quarterback with a later pick that is no less risky than the others.
Perhaps they have their eye on Boyd given his amazing rapport with their potential all-pro receiver.

he has no love for Clemson. He never brings up Sammy Watkins, but he always brings up Marquis Lee. He is not of fan of Dabo.

Well, I guess that Dabo is out of his draft selections.

He definitely has a bias towards the West Coast.
I have noticed in the past he doesn't have a ton of love for Clemson, but I noticed small things in the past season that makes me believe he's starting to buy in a bit.

That's more than a lot of people can handle.
He's not been a fan of Clemson and we haven't really deserved it, but our success over the last two years has him moving in our direction, as you would expect from any reasonably unbiased outside observer.

show is based around him comparing sports to real world situations. He constantly makes comparisons, lol. Football with a Costco. Baseball manager with a Fortune 500 company executive and so on and so forth, lol. Constantly starting and restarting himself to make sure he gets the right comparison while I'm yelling at the radio....."Duuuuuuuuuuuuude, we get it! You can stop. We get where you are trying to go with this." I guess he believes his audience is filled with a bunch of "gurts", I believe is the word he likes to throw around about the South.

Agreed. I really enjoy Colin, though sometimes I think he falls victim to his own critism of people who try to "be right instead of getting it right".
I do like his viewpoint most of the time though and think that if Clemson looks good and plays well he'll give them their due credit.
As I mentioned before, I think he's starting to give us some love. I don't remember the exact quote or subject, but he was talking about how you (and I'm paraphrasing here) "need elite coaches/players if you're going to compete with top notch programs like an LSU or a Clemson."

Whoops, submitted before finishing. The general jist of what I'm trying to say is I think he's realizing we're a team at the edge of the elite levels.

dismiss the comment, or like he usually does with anything ACC or Clemson related, just ignore the comment and move on to something else.

he's now my 2nd favorite sports show behind SVP and Russillo.
He really isn't biased, he's just brutally honest about everything, and i love that about his show. Very intelligent guy, and he's not afraid to say whats on his mind.
He does focus a bit more on west coast stuff, but that's because he's from Washington and his largest audience is out there on the west coast.

Nobody is gonna trade up to #1 to take Sammy.

There's really not much to trade up for at the top of this draft at all tbh. There's no can't-miss QB prospect, the WR class is very deep and talented, and i just can't see anybody paying the premium to traded up into the top of this draft when they can get a fairly similar prospect with more value a little later.
This is a great draft for teams with mid-to-late 1st round picks.
