They are both fast, and legitimate running threats. We’ve run the option a few times this year but with DJ. He seems better at north/south runs and the other option might give us a good chance to break some long runs or at least pick up good yardage.

If it gets us a couple of first downs, it is well worth it.

Run it until they stop it. Much like a change in tempo, it can throw the defense off their stride temporarily.

That is a good point. Why can’t TE figure that out? Isn’t he getting paid 2 mil. We aren’t getting our money worth.

Option football requires blocking. It's not something you can put in quickly and given our poor offensive line play it doesn't seem practical.
