I'm 76, attended Clemson 1957-58 school year. Have been a lifelong Clemson man, even though I did not graduate from Clemson. With that said, why - with all the engineering skill at Clemson is the sound system in this building so lousy??? That sound was atrocious - how could anyone understand anything that was said? After about 2 minutes, I stopped trying.

I was in radio broadcasting for several years and I know quality sound and that was not quality sound.

My question is raised because of this thought - what did the students there think, could they hear and understand everything that was said?

Clemson can do better than this!!

The sound in the building is perfectly fine. With all due respect to the the gentleman that asked, the crappy sound is due to the recording device used. Trust me I've been there the past 3 years the sound is great!
