Let's see how we do on the road for 3 games against a former national championship baseball team like UVA!
I'm still not wearing the orange colored glasses, and I'm still uncertain on how good this team really is. We Beat all the sorry teams and lose to good ones.
Win this series handily and my thoughts on our team will be that we are a real good team.
Thoughts?

A win over the local community college is just not as impressive as say, wins over say, a Top 10 team. Now, thats just my opinion, but I think it makes sense

Yeah we will see for sure this weekend if the hitting has really picked up .
I’m more worried about Henny he has not looked good the last few outings.
This will be a tough series even tho UVA is down this season, they will still battle us .

Thanks Tigs. I've read some of your posts and I agree with a lot of the things you say. You call it like it is and see things a lot of the same ways I do.
I mean you can't sugarcoat the truth, when it comes to the baseball team.
Like was saying, this weekend will tell a lot.

Yeah In his last three starts, JH has given up 11 runs in 13 innings. He isnt locating and his fastball looks really really slowwwwwww. He doesn’t look like the same pitcher he was at the beginning of the year.

He did the same exact thing last season.
His biggest problem is that if he doesn’t get those calls on the conners , then starts getting behind.
His fast ball is just batting practice when has to come over the plate .

These "sorry" teams are made up of players that have risen above normal to get onto a college roster. It takes the joy of a good season away when aponents are degraded to the level of sorry. Winning these games are necessary but not granted.
