Landing in Calgary later tonight. Driving to Jasper National Park tomorrow morning. Will be camping in Jasper and Banff for one week, then 2 nights in Calgary. Need some recommendations

The best fish and chips I've ever eaten in my life.
In fact, they've ruined all future fish and chips for me.
Beautiful part of the world. Stop at some of the scenic places between Banff & Jasper. Worth it to take your time.
I'm jealous.

Use to travel to Calgary on the way to the oil sands, and skied out there a lot in the '80s/'90s. Loved it and you probably will too, but it was too long ago for my recommendations to do you much good. Everything has probably changed, and my old-timers addled brain can't remember if anyway. Sorry, but hope you have fun though.

Johnston Canyon trail. Beautiful hike with waterfall
Columbia Ice Field between Banff and Jasper. You can take a bus (with HUGE tires) out on the field, and even drink from an ancient glacier.
Peyto Lake
Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, moraine lake
The drive from Banff to Jasper is incredible!
Athebaska falls
Any of the glaciers
Visit the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel
