EFF SPURCOOT!!!
That classless, senile ole ball sack needs to hang it up.
He reminds me of Woody Hayes who stayed just a "little" longer than he should.
When people think of class and integrity in the State of South Carolina, it's DABO that think of.
Not that senile old nutjob down in Coot town.
Go Tigers!!!

I think if you spent some time perusing national message boards you would find that the national view on Dabo is not quite what you seem to think it is.
And I am not saying you are wrong. He is a pretty classy guy. That isn't the view of him though.

You will realize that the consensus opinion is that Spurrier has been and always will be a JERK!
That's a fact, jack!

Then Billy Graham would have been a great football coach, huh? Nobody, and I mean nobody, wanted to talk about class and integrity around Clemson football back in the '80's, when Danny ball was the flavor of the week, and kicking most everybody's bootay. All of a sudden, there is a salve for Tiger fans, just in case we don't win like we should. "Dabo is a fine, upstanding, morally righteous, leader of our young men, so even though we lost the game, we're really better than you." Frankly, this attitude is sad and pathetic. Don't get me wrong, I'm not making fun of Dabo's morals, integrity, or spirituality. I much prefer coaches like that too. It just ticks me off when (too many) Tiger fans use excuses and alibis to explain away disappointments, as if this gives them some kind of "oprahesque" reasoning to rationalize that they are still a winner, regardless of the scoreboard.

He is proving that you can do things the right way and win.
U$uc is showing that you can sell your soul to the devil and win --- in the short term. But it will catch up to him sooner or later. He is not respected across the country.

Who would want to help mold intelligent, high character, productive members of society? Don't they know winning football games is more important!
