So who do I root for....?

So I am torn..... I am out here in fort worth for grad school at TCU and have really enjoyed being a frog as well as a Tiger. That being said, as many of you know TCU has a huge game against Kstate (BCS#2) tomorrow night. This team needs a big win (although I took great pride in the OT win against WVU last weekend as a little payback for the OB) and I would love to be at the game when TCU upsets #2. That being said, after playing with the BCS rankings, Kstate winning out would be beneficial to our (clemsons) BCS bowl hopes as the big 12 would then meet there 2 max without taking an at large. I am a tiger at heart as I spent 4 amazing years there so who do I root for.

The only team that will influence our big that can make the championship is Oregon. If the ducks make the championship then the Rose bowl is open to select another team outside of the Big 10/Pac 12 match-up. After Oregon St. drops another game we will be ranked above all other pac 12 teams and the Rose bowl would love to pick ND. That would open up 1 extra spot for an at-large team.

KSU matter less than Oklahoma

I believe if Oklahoma loses one more game then the Big 12 will only get one team in the BCS regardless of KSU getting in undefeated or with 1 loss. If Oklahoma wins out, they will likely get a BCS at large bid whether KSU is undefeated or not. So if I am right then you can pull for your Frogs as hard as you would like (as long as it's a little less than you pull for the Tigers).

I think we give OU a game in a couple of weeks when they come to town. On a side note, it's amazing how may people around here come up to me and make comments when I am wearing my clemson stuff. A lot of them remember the game a couple of years back (the monsoon) and let me know how much fun they had even though the weather was horrible. There are some very knowledgeable CF fans here and many respect clemson and their offense. I will say they are still trying to figure out the whole gameday atmosphere here as it doesn't compare at all to clemsons. It has gotten a lot better than last year with the induction into the Big12.....they had to deal with getting up for teams like colorodo state, SDSU, and UNLV which I can imagine would be tough.

you do not have a choice, you will pull for TCU because i like them ;)

(hopefully that was not to out of line, i have seen far worse on here lately about her.)
