phantom calls when we were up 16 that completely changed the way we had to play. Especially the 3 phantom calls on Thomas that took him out and like I said... really changed the way he/we had to play the whole game starting about 6 minutes in the 1st half.

Or the foul on I forgot who when the NC State guy drove, lost the ball out of bounds, and fell down on his own with about 45 seconds left.
It is not that one questionable call... it was the accumulated 15 that really makes me think Valentine had something on this game.

Sure there was contact there. The problem is that they weren’t calling that same foul on state all game.
Also there was WAY more contact on the no call against unc as well. At the very least 1 of those should have gone our way.

that is proof if you want to say that the foul happened before the shot which means the wolves would have taken the ball out on the side or under the basket. fact is that is not what the ref, who was out of position called. he blew his whistle when the wolf hit the floor. go look for that proof. fact of the matter is it was a terrible call that would never had been made on ncs or anyone wearing blue. we do enough on our own to screw up. we dont need any extra help.

The video seems to be missing a lot of the action, but it does appear he got him on the arm in the photo and video.

offensive player gathers the ball, as opposed to a jump shooter. It also may be the case that, at the end of the game, it becomes a shooting foul regardless, within reason.
That is my understanding. If so, that picture clearly shows a shooting foul.

The call was made AFTER the shot, in fact, it was made AFTER the ball bounced off the rim and towards a Clemson rebound. Watch hthe play in real-time. The ref DID NOT call that frame as the foul.
Secondly, the ref called a shooting foul. The (common) contact shown in that frame is well before the shot. There's no way possible the ref called a shooting foul on that contact. And if he did call it on that contact, then NC State should have been inbounding, not shooting.
Thirdly, if you look at a frame by frame of every drive to the bucket, most everyone of them are going to have that type of handcheck.
The shooting foul was called after the shot bounced off the rim. Watch the realtime replay. The NC State guy's "evidence" is immaterial. Denied.
We got hosed. Looks like with a clear purpose. Plain and simple.

He was NOT in the act of shooting. Look at his legs, that’s not a shooting base and if you look at his face he’s looking to pass.
There was a foul to give, should have been states ball out of bounds.

Well if the foul occurred when the player was touched then it should have been a common foul and not a shooting foul bc he was not in the act of shooting when trapp hit his arm. They blew the whistle later after he went for the shot so yes he did foul but it wasn’t a shooting foul from this video and real game.
