The ranking really does not matter as long as we are in the top 4. But I think it was pretty evident that this team (coaches included) were not ready for this game. A drop in ranking by the committee will send a strong message that they need to stay hungry. We may look at this as a good lesson!

Please... The commitee is not going to drop an undefeated team from any power 5 conference. We won the game. I would not be surprised if we stay at number one. This team needs to eat a little humble pie... That's all

#2 or #3. At the end of the year the SOS could very well hurt us if the Tigers are at #2 or #3. Syracuse hanging with LSU was good, WF vs ND was a good showing today & the ####$ hanging with FLA was OK. You've got to remember who E$ecPN is in the cahoots with.

Write it down, it's the body of work they look at. Plus we put up 570 yards to their 320 yards on the road. I think WE something of a let down, but I doubt the committee sees anything but the Tiger's continuing to roll.

We still want to be number 1... In the end it won't matter but it will if we are 4 and an undeafted Big 12 champ is behind us, then we may be jumped.

I'm happy at #1........and want to stay there. We don't need any lessons from the committee or anyone else. What we need is for our staff to keep our troops marshalled and ready for battle.

If Alabama ends up #1, they would play in Dallas and that would leave the Orange Bowl
for teams 2 & 3. The distance from Alabama to Dallas is less than to Miami.
