So, Tigers may play 12 games b/4 CFP while OHst just 9 total.

Saying, is this fair?
With 3 more games, an ACC team like Clemson could have more injuries, be Bama-like tired or infested with the Coronus.
What say you Tiger?

If the ACCCG is Dec 12 and the BIG is Dec 19 will you feel

better about it? One less week to rest/prepare?
Pros for more games: More reps for building depth with our schedule. Don't see anyone outside of ND, and potentially ND again or UNC in the ACCCG giving us trouble. Obviously some teams may surprise this year that I am not looking at. More tape to show CFP committee we belong if we do happen to drop a game.
Cons: More tape for opponent in CFP (although we only have a few games that they will use tape on probably). Better chance for injury playing more games.
I don't really see playing 12 instead of 9 being that big of a difference. Let's face it, we would really only be playing 2 more games because the citadel is a scrimmage. We have more bye/time off, while the BIG team will be playing every week and have only 2 weeks to prepare as opposed to 3 for the ACC. I know a lot of things could happen i.e. ACCCG pushed back, CFP pushed back, but this is more rest time for Clemson in the long run. If you think they won't let the BIG in if they get the 9 games off, you're loony.

Agreed. They shouldn't have much rest between their CG

Fair is a relative term...

and you can best bet that a 9 - 0 or 8 - 1 team from the B1G is likely going to get into the CFP.
This will primarily impact the AAC, ACC and the SEC. Prior to the B1G finally deciding to resume play, the possibility existed that the ACC or the $EC could get two teams in the CFP (i.e., Clemson/Notre Dame or Bama/Florida). Of course, the AAC can pretty much forget about getting a team in now.

But we will have 3 more games to build depth, keep a rhythm, and stay focused. With us starting earlier we don't need to take many weeks off late in the season to get out of synch. We play each week with off weeks thrown in and get better, build the team and it won't matter what the B10G does.

Didn't your mother ever tell you life is not fair? Dabo will not gripe about this so don't be afraid of the unknown.

And be gracious to those less fortunate than yourself, such as Ohio State. It’s not hard to understand why they desperately need unfair advantages.

They could fill a Pac12 vacancy and put a better product on the field than the Pac12

It won't matter. Tigers will destroy anyone in their path no matter how fresh their players are!
Injuries to key players can happen at any time, and I really think the "tired" factor is overrated for 20 year old kids who can bounce back in a few days time from any game. Of course I'll be as upset as anyone if the Tigers lose a few key players in the last few games before the playoffs though!

Wait until the season is over to count the number of games played. There may be some cancellations along the way. I still don't understand why the BIG can't start sooner.

Fair? Who cares if it is fair? You think Ohio St wants to be sitting at home right now instead of playing football?? Is that fair to them? If they win 8 games in a row without a bye week they deserve to be in the playoffs. It isn't like we are battling to the 4th quarter in every game we play this year.

It’s not like the acc has any threat tbh those games played will be over by halftime
