Nice older guy with a hot young wife, and he asked me a hypothetical question. Assuming Clemson beats NC State, UVa, and either Duke or Miami to win the ACCT, where do you think Clemson would be seeded in the NCAAT.
I thought that was an interesting question. My answer was 8th or 9th. He though more like 6th or 7th.
What say ye?

Just a guess, but he was in his early to mid 60s and she was probably in her late 30s early 40s.
She was definitely younger than him, so more a case of adding some customized enhancements to a newer model.

I'll go with the UVA guys opinion. If we did win the ACC, we would certainly be in or very near the Top 25, which would theoretically put us at a 7 seed (top 28) or higher.

I agree with your line of thinking. I also would add a #6 seed is awarded if the coming into the tournament on a hot streak is given a lot of weight.
Is that redundant? Lol.

If we do all that then realistically all the projections are proven to be crap and we would be at worst a 4 seed, which would be in the top 16. A 25 win ACC Champion would garner no less!

But given the jump in the numbers just on the NC St win last night, if we do manage to win the ACCT, I could see the committee putting us in the 6-7 seed range. 5 would be an absolute stretch, but that would be the committee throwing the ACC a bone by giving a power conference tourney champ a bump.
