Staying In The ACC HELPS Recruiting

Jun 14, 2012, 6:59 PM

Since we get most of our players from the region, and the players want to stay in the region so they can play against other teams in the region, and since the ACC is in the region, and the schools in the ACC region are known to be good... its a regional thing......

It helped with the Grayson trio no doubt.

Concern about traveling distance for their parents had this a CU/UGA race from the start.Once the BIG 12 talk was squashed , all 3 signed.I'd hazard a guess that not even Bama or LSU were in the running just because of distance to home games. But like I said that's just a guess.

Clemson home games will still be where they have been since before anyone on t-net was born

Be a smarta$$ is you want.

A dumba$$ even, if you feel like it. But it was one of the Clayton trio that was waivering because of the BIG 12 move. But by no means let the facts get in your way.

If you really want to find out, dont be scared and hide on a computer
It was an answer to a post that stated recruits parents wanted Clemson to stay in the ACC because of home games
Clemson home games are where they have been played for many years now staying in the ACC or going to the Big 12 or where ever will not change where Clemson plays home games

It's about a SCHOOL thing. It's not about region and the schools that surround us. IT'S ABOUT CLEMSON.

I AGREE and....

the kids in the region want to play at a great school, and since Clemson is a great school in the region, its a no-brainer. LASTLY, they can play most of their games in the region... and their parents, relatives, friends, girlfriends, wanna-be girlfriends, can come see them!
