SEC teams benefit from fewer road games.

Nov 2, 2015, 9:27 AM

I checked the 2015 schedules for the college football teams currently ranked in the AP Top 25 and noticed something strange about the three highest-ranked SEC teams (LSU, Alabama, Florida). All three SEC teams will only play four road games during the regular season, while the rest of the top 25 teams (except Texas A&M) will play five or six road games before the post-season. I hope this statistic will be taken into consideration by the CFP committee. Road games are generally more difficult than home games.
