No guarantees in recruiting. Seems like a lot of drama to deal with. For every RN theres a Gaines Adams. Not saying we should not recruit him, but lets not loose focus becuase of one football player.

Sorry but this is crap. Imagine being 18 yrs old and having to make a decision that will affect the rest of your life, WHILE have reporters chasing you around putting a microphone or recorder in your face hoping you'll say anything that will sell papers and make them look like somebody.... WHILE have coaches from schools all over the country sending you hundreds of letters every day and patting you on the back telling you that you are the best thing since sliced bread... WHILE having everybody watch your every move, some just hoping you will mess up and also having them be critical of your play in your senior football season, because you are the #1 recruit, you should be producing more... While having a Mama that has been out of the country and letting others raise her son during your teenage years come in at the last minute and tell you that she knows what is best for you and you are going to play football with your brother.

I'm sorry, but nobody deserves all of that crap and Robert don't deserve the crap he is getting from some off of this board. You haven't walked in his shoes.

I feel for him. This should be an enjoyable time in his life and it looks to me to be a time of tremendous stress.

I just hope he goes to whatever school is right for him. I also hope he decides that school is Clemson.
