That does not correlate with the huge shooting discrepancy between the rest of the world and the US.
Years of poor gun regulation (driven by the gun lobby and the gop) is by far and away the biggest issue leading to America’s gun violence problem.

Remember the Democrats are trying to find any possible reason under the sun that is gun related.
Shootings go on daily at Democratic run cities and rarely do you hear much from these Democrat leaders. That’s not their narrative.
They want to take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, they want to make it harder for law abiding citizens to acquire guns and ammo. Criminals aren’t going to be deterred in any way from obtaining a gun. They are not going to be registered. They don’t want to discuss the millions of gun owners that take that ownership seriously and handle their firearms in a safe and responsible manner.
In my opinion the destruction of the nuclear family is the root of Americas problems, not guns.
In my opinion a lot of the Mental health issues correlate with the destruction of the nuclear family.
I’m not a registered Democrat or Republican. I generally vote Republican, because Im more in line with their talking points come election time. But it’s just talking points that are soon forgotten as soon as the election is over. So the people in the middle find their self in the no win situation of picking between someone that you don’t agree with on major issues and professional liars.
There are a lot of problems with our country and more and more government control will do nothing but make it worse.

Here's a few facts blue sky - Tops Grocery Store shooter - raised with no father in the home. Uvalde School shooter - raised with no father in the home. Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooter - that is complete family goat rope with him from biological mother's arrest for crack use while pregnant with him, to family violent crime, to his adoption.
Family environment may not be the root cause but it is definitely a contributing cause.
