For the love -- if we haven't learned to trust Dabo & Co. after 15 years, will we ever???
I'll bet in three years we're talking about some of the less-heralded guys in this class being world-class.
Who bet on Baylon Spector and Nolan Turner as high school signees?

What would their class last year have to do with it? You thought they were going to all be awesome as true frosh? Even the class we have now, I am thinking more about them shining as a whole as sophomores or juniors.

It's using one case to make a point.
Just as many are lamenting our "poor" class today, many were praising Jimbo's #1 class last year.
But what a difference a year makes. 26 A&M players in the portal and counting.
I agree that we won't know how good this class really is for a couple of years. That's sort of my point, actually: don't get too high...or too low. What a difference a couple of years might make.
But this staff has earned the benefit of the doubt.

You look at that class with ETN, Tee Higgins, and Amari Rodgers, and that was maybe 15th or something. Turned out great.
Then you look at the class Demarkus Bowan and that class was 3rd. That class had a lot of issues.
There is no telling about A&M's class from last year. It might go down as a great in a couple of years. Jimbo might mess it all up? They may have a top 5 program in a couple of years. Who knows? It takes more than a true freshman with a bunch of redshirts to know.

It drives me crazy that folks on this board trust hacks at rivals and 247 more than Dabo when it comes to recruiting.
You would think after 15 years we could all at least agree that dabo knows how to evaluate and recruit better than almost anyone, but alas we have too many ignorant ungrateful fans that unfortunately jumped on the bandwagon somewhere between the 2 natty’s we won.

I think 14 of them will no longer be on Tam team. Read article few wks ago and said there was a wide degree of reasons. Most commonly was being paid with no guarantee to play. So they left the area.
