Can anyone explain this to me?

This is some information that we have on the covid vaccine....
- if you are vaccinated, you have a much lower chance of you having severe symptoms - if you are vaccinated you can still get covid and spread it
I don't understand why people are so up in arms over the unvaxxed. Both the vaxed and unvaxxed can get covid and spread it. I am personally vaccinated, but how is an unvaxxed person a danger to me or society?

I know this has probably been explained to you before, but

you probably just choose not to listen.
1. It's about keeping the hospital ICU beds open for people that actually need to be there. Check the numbers of folks in the hospital and ICU that are vaxxed vs unvaxxed. My old neighbor had a cancerous growth identified last June. She was not able to get into a hospital to have it removed because of COVID and had to live with the risks and complications of its growth until December 2. It's about slowing the spread and limiting the amount of severe infections. 3. It's about trying to limit the variants from mutating. More hosts = more possibilities of the virus mutating. 4. Lets pretend that you are standing in a room with 10 people. If 8 of those are vaxxed, the theoretical rate of transmission is low and the chances of severe symptoms are near zero. If 8 of the 10 are not vaxxed, the likelihood of cases resulting in severe symptoms and hospitalizations probably goes up exponentially.
At the end of the day, its a conversation about selfishness vs. selflessness. Not freedoms, not rights, not anything like that. I got the shot because its the right thing to do for the people around me. The people at risk for complications. My 1-year old daughter. My neighbor who is immunocompromised that hasn't been able to safely leave her home in over a year.

1. So it's all about hospital beds huh? What is being done to increase hospital beds? Or is nothing being done? 2.. how are you slowing the spread if vaxxed people still get covid?if an unvaxxed person gets covid and is a asymptomatic, are they more contagious then someone with the vax that is asymptomatic? 3. Again if vaccinated people get and spread covid, then how does that limit variants? An argument could be made that vaccinations are impeding herd immunity thus causing more variants. 4. Again is an unvaxxed person more likely to spread covid than a vaxxed person? Even if they have the same level of symptoms?
I have the vax.

You're really not getting this.

1. Hire more doctors and nurses? Great plan, where are you getting them from?
2. Vaccinated people are less likely to get Covid but can still get Covid. Empirically and anecdotally.
3. More people vaxxed means less spread. That argument would be stupid.
4. They are indeed more likely to spread it and also to be deathly ill with it bringing us back to point number 1.

And how many were hospitalized? How many died? Is your expectation that 0% of vaccinated people should catch it for it to be worthwhile? You don’t have to like it, but the facts are that vaccinated people have less of a chance of contracting it, less chance of symptomatic infection, and less chance of poor outcomes.
I’d be pretty nervous if I was in your position, looking at data like you do, and seeing SC infection rates and who ends up in the hospital on a vent. I genuinely hope you’re taking precautions and it works out ok for you, but I just can’t see any j

Ok, so? Accept that they help some, or more importantly, that it might keep you from dying and leaving your family behind because you didn’t like people being mean about it. Accept that and go protect yourself. There’s just no good reason to sit back and roll the dice anymore.

I don't personally know anybody that has been hospitalized for covid. 99% of cases don't result in hospitalization.

for 2 years before switching to a different major in college:
The unvaxxed are more likely to allow the virus to mutate. Because of mutation it will start effecting those who are vaxxed by making the vaccination less effective.
So the more people who get vaxxed will reduce the likelihood of more mutation like the delta variant.

There is a huge difference between unvaxed never infected and the unvaxed but previously infected. Until they start differentiating the 2 in their unvaxed stats I’m frankly bored with their debate. When the government and the medical community stop omitting natural immunity in the debate they may regain a fraction of credibility.

It's funny when somebody doesn't have an answer so the resort to personal attacks. What a tiny d!cked loser you are.
Question for you since you are all knowing...
Who is more contagious between 2 people with mild covid symptoms, Vaxxed or unvaxxed?

To make it simple for you:
Vaccinated people are being admitted to the hospital at a dramatically lower rate than unvaccinated people. Sure, vaxed people can and do get it but most don’t need the hospital beds.
Unvaxed people are filling up hospitals to the point that real emergencies can’t be treated in a timely manner. Elective surgeries are cancelled because no beds. If it keeps up, outpatient surgeries will start getting cancelled.
Unvaxed are a drain on the system. I hope you don’t have an emergency and need prompt medical attention at an overflowing ER.
We sent a patient to the ER a few days ago that ended up waiting over 5 hours, bleeding from the head, sitting in the overflowing waiting room…no room in the inn.

Yes this is what I'm getting at and was mentioned in my first post.
The only issue to me is hospital capacity and it doesn't seem that hospitals are doing anything to increase capacity.
