He was a top 100 overall recruit in 2022 and has a lot of potential.
If he stunk he wouldn’t be going to Oklahoma.
Now he needs to be replaced.

That is the problem. He's already been replaced by a Freshman. Toriano is going to be a fine player wherever he goes. He didn't want to be a backup here, so he goes somewhere to get more playing opportunities.

Well since both avieon Terrell and Shelton Lewis passed him up for playing time and Jaedon Lukas has the other corner spot. With Tavon feagan and Corina Gipson both coming in. They Can probably do the job.

If Pride is going to OU then I have less respect for BV. As good a Dabo was to him, IMO I could not recruit one of Clemson’s TP players. In fact if I were BV I would encourage him to stay at Clemson.
Did BV recruit him if so that’s an even more ethical reason to not go after him.
TP cut throat recruiting is pathetic. Do most Coaches have a moral compass any longer or is it win whatever it takes.

Or maybe he moved down the depth chart and wanted to try elsewhere and Dabo called BV. Doesn't always have to be nefarious.

If OK ends up being where Pride goes, do you think BV and Dabo at least spoke about it? BV doesn't have to ask permission but there probably was a courtesy call.

I think if Terrell stays at Clemson he is going to be as good as any recent corner we have in recent years.
He has that fight in him you need. J.Luc will need to step up a ton. But, he has the potential. Staying healthy will also be something to keep an eye out on.
There are some good plug-and-play CB in the league who have faced college WR's you won't have to spend years catching up. Thankfully, it looks like something Clemson is going to get into now.
We will be okay here. I'll miss Toriano; but we are going to be good at CB I think.

He said in the interview that BV recruited him to Clemson, and was very transparent about accepting the OU HC job if it was offered. This doesn’t mean that BV tampered during the season. It sounds like TP wanted to play for Venables more than he wanted to just play for Clemson. He was getting passed on the depth chart so he could have reached out to Venables.
