Catchable Passes

Sep 5, 2022, 11:48 PM

DJ does not throw catchable passes with touch at certain times. Case has perfect throwing mechanics and throws a very catchable ball that reminds me of #4 and #16.

Yeah being hit in the hands are uncatchable

When u have no touch at times.. Throw to hard when you dont need to. Same crap Cam Newton used to do at Auburn.

Weak, if it hits your hand you catch it, remember Favre?

Yeah, now you understand.

You know nothing about football. It's fun to say "if it touches your hand, you catch it." And maybe that's more of an argument in the NFL. But a ball needs touch and to get there in a spiral. Look at Drew Brees or Tom Brady's throws vs. Favre's. Guess who are legends with all the meaningful records? Who's the QB who lost almost every big game he ever played in.

Hard to judge Cade on one series but it does look like

DJ needs to put a little more air under the ball at times.

Please stop making excuses for our WRs.

I know it’s hard to admit, but the “WRU” label doesn’t apply anymore. We don’t have nearly the caliber of WR now that we had when we had guys like Watkins, Hopkins, Bryant, Williams, Scott, etc.

I think that's fair to some extent. We lost out repeatedly on the top 5 Star receivers, usually to Ohio State. But there's a ton of talent in our WR ranks. I want to see them play with a QB who has touch and actually throws a spiral. Then we can say whether they have butter fingers.
