During this championship game when they went on 4th down on their side of the 50-yard line, I turned to my wife and told her that they've been in DESPERATE MODE during these 3 championship games against us.
And yes, they could easily have been 0-3.

but they won, and that's it.
I am happy with our wins, and they should be happy about theirs.

Yeah, you’re right CSO, they could say they’re one dropped pass from 2016 however, 2015 we had several things we could point to. Onside kick, mac going down, or the one gets me is the kind return. There were about 3 blocks in the back and holding that didn’t get called.
But you’re right, happy what we got and interesting points on what could have been.

If we had just 1 of these 2, we win 3 of last 4 championships: 1)BT Potter type kickoff specialist- he eliminated any kickoff return 2)3 DBs that mailed it in prior to 1st game.
Just give me Potter and they have no kickoff return TD and we win.

Our kickoffs were so poor back then, it would have been better to just kick it out of bounds and give it to them on the 35.

Funny thing about play calling...the result can make you a genius or an idiot. If in 2015 we had been paying attention then Saban would have gone done as an idiot instead of a genius.

I’m sorry, but this is coot logic.
They could easily say they are one defensive stop away from winning 2 of 3 national championships against us, and 3 of 4 games in the playoffs. Wouldn’t we laugh if they said that? I know I would. Just the same as when I laughed when I read this.
There was way more to them winning that game. They were on the 50 when they got the onsides kick. Our d had more than a chance to keep them from scoring points. Our d played poor the whole game. Henry had more than 150 yards. Howard ran wide open all game. DW threw a bad int just when we were about to take control of the game. Kick return td. All of that combined doomed our chance to win that game.

Well #### dude, cut us some slack, they feel like they won the game against us bc they scored a few TD'S. They feel that they are just as much NC's as we are. On their coot radio here, they are already saying they are closer to winning a NCG as they have ever been bc they player right along with the NC's!!!

in 2015. The Bama INT at the 12 minute mark 2nd quarter was huge. If he misses Ray Ray takes it home and Clemson would be up 21-7. The onside kick and TD return hurt too. Clemson made a good game of it though.
