No way to know....they don't release the voters votes until the very last one of the season I believe.

Sometimes, it slips out who voted for whom. If it did,

Tnet would know.

Coaches list of voters.....

Sep 29, 2013, 2:59 PM [ in reply to Re: Who voted us #1 in the Coaches poll? Just curious ]

The USA TODAY Sports Board of Coaches is made up of 62 head coaches at Bowl Subdivision schools. All are members of the American Football Coaches Association. AFCA policy bars schools under major NCAA or conference sanctions from receiving votes.

My guess is Jim Grobe

Swinney. it's not Spurrier. Swinney has us at 1, 2 (Bama ahead because of loyalty) or 3

Could be Rick Stockstill from Middle Tenn. and former coach at Clemson?

I hope it isn't Dabo because I think it is tacky to vote yourself number 1 in this case.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

My guess is some coach who watched our game yesterday

Sep 29, 2013, 3:21 PM

Grobe, Sweeney, or some other coach who decided to take a day off from their own job to watch the beat down.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Les Miles?

Sep 29, 2013, 4:00 PM

I agree Grobe and Richt are good guesses, but what about Les Miles? He just lost to UGA and hates Saban and Alabama, so maybe he wanted to put UGA first but couldn't do that since they lost to us, so he puts Clemson at 1 and UGA at 2

I'm only half serious - probably was Grobe

Whats to lose by doing it now? The onlytime that they release who ranked who where Iis for the last pole. He could vote them #1 from now till then if he wants. Deny it was him and use it for motivation for the team

Nick Saban.

Sep 30, 2013, 6:42 AM

He needed something to get fired up at his team about this week.
