National anthem show proper respect...means shutting the **** up while the anthem is ongoing as well.
I try not to comment on stuff like this b/c how political/divisive issue has been. But I'm coming at it from vantage point w/ my upbringing w/ multiple veterans in my family, 2 years as a ROTC cadet at Clemson, & 9 years as a soldier in the Army.

If America is the land of freedom, why do bakers have to violate their faith to provide cakes to gay and transgender folks. Plenty of other bakers would welcome their business. Why are people of faith (especially Christians) denied their freedom of religion and speech because someone else disagrees. No one stopped the Cal team from kneeling even though they disagreed. However, conservatives are canceled, sued and even attacked because people on the left disagree with them. Very curious.

It is the land of the free. Its the land of the free because brave men and women defend that flag they were kneeling for. Feel any way you want but it's disrespectful any way you look at it. Especially for those of us that have a folded flag with empty shells in it sitting on our mantles.

I think you’re a couple of weeks late on this one, but I guess maybe it was a slow day for outrage so we had to rehash old news.
Just FYI, Cal did split the weekend series with the Cajuns…so mrginsngear was only half right.
Amazing to me the things that people get upset about…outraged at a bunch of kids for kneeling but happy/supportive of a bunch of folks ransacking the Capitol and voting for the guy who encouraged it ( or at the very least did nothing to stop it…for hours).
Not saying you did, and this isn’t necessarily directed at you. Again, just weird where people draw the line.

Typical for that state. Going down the drain according to their last budget numbers they have released. Always had been taught states were not supposed to be operating in the red. Guess I’m confused with something else. Biden will pass another Build Back Better part 2 (in name only of course) and send them a wad of cash like he did in NY. Seeing NYC is a sanctuary city we know where some of our fed dollars are being spent.
Sorry to get political but our inept government pisses me off.
