Which team would you rather us play in the 1st round of CFP?

UGA?
Tennessee?
Ohio State?
Other? Why?
Of those 3 I say UGA. Would feel good to end their bid for a Natty.
Not crazy at the idea of playing the Bucknutz again.
Tennessee, we would have to win a track meet with them I believe.
Anyjuan else (i.e. TCU) would probably just glad to be there. This wouldn't be bad for us to play a team like that though.

Michigan, for two reasons. One it would most likely mean Ohio St was not in the playoffs. Two, if there are two SEC teams that would mean they are playing each other in the first round.

I think Clemson can beat Georgia or Michigan. Not because they aren’t talented l, especially UGA, just because it’s a better match up for Clemson because neither have the dominant passing games of Bama or OSU. That level of college football is all about how good your QB and Wideouts are. That’s just my opinion. I agree with the other guy that said UT would like be a track meet. I don’t care to see Ohio St or Bama THIS year because of the advantages they hold over Clemson at QB and WR.

is a big concern. We don’t have Deshaun, Trevor, Mike Williams, or Tee Higgins on this team. Where is our offense going to come from? Shipley is really talented but he can’t take over by himself.

I think this sums it up. It is so hard for me to say to my OSU friends and coworkers that I am not confident playing OSU at the moment. That could change if we start putting 4 quarters together somewhere this season.
Mind you my OSU friends that I went to AZ to for the 1st OSU Tiger matchup called that game. They basically said they had no chance due to Barrett’s passing ability and felt the Tigers would handle Em. Boy they were right. It was great sitting in between a bunch of OSU fans watching that.

Easy Ohio state want to shut them up again, and want to remind the tnetters who wet their pants at the thought of facing the scary bucknuts that this is the first time their offense has looked like this only to get shutdown by Clemson ???

I think The is really good this year, but if we're clicking on all cylinders (and we haven't come close yet), I like our chances against anyone.
This offensive line is better than we've seen in many many years. After all the #### they've taken over the years, we should give them props.
RBs are great
WRs are good enough
TEs are the best since Leggett
The good DJ is good enough
DL speaks for itself
LBs are becoming a force
Secondary is solid -- occasionally great and occasionally not
Don't forget the secret weapon: BT Potter -- dude is money

Ohio State every-time, we owe them and our defense will kill their QB, they haven’t played anyone and they aren’t close to as good as they where in the last game in 2020.
We would win that game 8 out 10 times & earn a bunch of respect from a team that played no one except Michigan. We might end up facing Michigan & we could shut down their running game.
Either one would be nice this season.

Mainly because I've never seen us play those
Secondary reasons include letting SEC teams and/or tOSU battle out for the other final spot.
Of your choices, I'd probably say UGA mainly because their style is the one we are most likely to matchup well with. Tennessee means a track meet like Wake and Tennessee is more talented than Wake. tOSU looks solid all-around. I'm not sure we could score enough on them to overcome anything other than a perfect game by our defense.
