I live in NC and absolutely cannot stand this guy. He is completely tanking parts of our economy.
After saying for months, there would be a Phase 1 - 3 reopening, he literally made up a BS Phase 2.5 that we are now in. Ridiculous.

I live in NC too, no way in hail that MF gets a second term. Much like McCory, a one term failure. At least Pat lined his pockets with gold before he left. While I hate crooked politics, I hate stupid politicians more.

OK, I busted out laughing on that one. The next beer is one me.
The Coop is an idiot but how in the world the Reps found Forest and actually nominated the guy for ANY office is beyond me. The Rinos had one job and that is to pick a guy less basic than Coop and they serve up a kook.Sadly, Coop is likely going to get a second nod to do nothing but pressers.
We all need/should just vote for the DiFiore. Not really sure he is better but at this point it is a race to the bottom.
Personally, I would rather have a stupid politicians (redundant statement) than a crooked one. But the only thing worse than either is an effective one...

Good lord that idiot is going to create a wave of NC residents fleeing to South Carolina only to be dumb ##### and vote just like they did in North Carolina.

dimwitted turd of a Governor. Roy Cooper has not one care in the world for businesses much less trying to apply common sense to the COVID-19 issue. I can't imagine why anyone in NC would vote to give this idiot another term.

So much willful ignorance on this board. I’ll just leave this data here for comparison and let the Trumpists do your thing and call it fake or a hoax or overblown or whatever the dismissive talking point is today. Remember that McMaster followed Trump; Cooper didn’t. And based on what we learned this week, you’re all more than willing to say it’s okay that Trump knowingly lied about the severity while at the same time encouraging his most devoted supporters to gather in confined indoor spaces, so anything goes. Anything but logic and science, that is.
Time to turn to football for the day. Enjoy. Go Tigers.

Killed a lot of small family run businesses....Hope it was worth it. Kind of hard to believe any Covid numbers with all the testing deception that has come to light.

Maybe you should include statistics related to financial ruin by business owners in each state due to the governors edicts. Everyone knows the testing data is absolute BS. I suspect there are many Dem business owners who can’t wait to see this guy gone.

While I agree confined indoor spaces with poor ventilation for older people or people with underlining conditions may be a problem. That in no way compares to letting a couple hundred parents and friends (probably most under 65) attend a game outside in the stadium that seats 30,000. His restriction makes no sense and is pure politics. Vote him out.

He is a politician with eyes set on something bigger than the governor of NC. He knows who he has to appease.
