We should play in the NIT…

More practice. We need it.
• Chance to further develop younger players like Middlebrooks. Sheflain, Wiggins and Beadle (I know I misspelled one)
• Chance for younger players to get used to playing multiple games over few days.
• Opportunity to go to Vegas for the Finals.
• Will likely be a chance for home game where true fans who support the team no matter what to get the good seats!

I see nothing wrong with your post, Let’s go have some fun since I’m sure the team is tired of looking at the BS of what they needed to do in the last week…. They are no different than the rest of us happy folks trying to do the best they can

Agreed…. I would like to win it to prove to the Selection committee we were well deserving of an invite. The fact that NCSTATE and PITT got in over us is a travesty!!! Not often can I say that about our BB led basketball team.

Yes, my hope is a lot of folks who don't want to play the NIT are just frustrated. None of us are quitters and quitting should never be anything associated with Clemson.

I agree. As much as some don’t think it matters, an NIT championship would help get us closer to the next level and it shows we kept fighting. Usually the NIT champion had a great season the next year.

equivalent of playing in the Lending Tree Bowl in football, which featured Rice vs. Southern Miss this past year. Or maybe the Gasparilla Bowl, which featured Wake Forest vs. Missouri. But you get the picture.

When you are Clemson basketball, you have to look for the silver linings and take the scraps, get some valuable practice and have some fun.

I agree as well. These kids love playing basketball. It gives them an opportunity to get more practice and continue to develop the young players like you share.

I am all for it.

All allows them to show people they were wrong about us…assuming we play well and win it.
