I think you can be DUI for drugs, pot, even prescription drugs. But none are ‘safe’.
Now, don’t get me started on ‘distracted’ driving, ie. phones, gps, Big Macs, etc. …..

Georgia has a “DUI Less Safe” statute that allows for drivers to be convicted even if their blood alcohol content is less than . 08 grams. Another common reason for this charge arises when the driver refuses to submit to a breath, blood, or urine test.

Ga has two standards. Less safe and per-se. Less safe is .05 to .079 and you commit "less safe" acts. Per-se is .08 and it's automatic dui without the need for a less safe act to be committed.

L.E. does not cut UGA athletes breaks. They quit doing that in the mid 90s when a football player beat the literal HEII out of a UGA PD officer trying to break up a fight at a frat party. The reason so many get arrested is because ACCPD hooks them up.

and just hope eventually they get caught and learn an easy lesson, instead of a hard one, that involves loss of life. I take no pleasure in seeing the brother of one of the greatest former tigers of all time. One who played all four years and on a national title team. Even if Trevor chose to play for FLorida and Georgia, I'm sure he was pulling hard for us when his brother played. I wish him nothing but the best.
