I think Bosch Legacy is what I watched …… Lonesome Dove a long time ago …….. watched Vikings as it was on weekly ……. Also watched all the good PBS series … Sanditon, etc.
I’ll check on some of the other suggestions!

Joe Pickett on Paramount + is good. I saw they were debating a new season.
Longmire on Netflix (it was when I watched it) or Peacock now
My daughter and son-in-law really like Ozark on Netflix.

Recommend getting AppleTV+. Slow Horses alone is worth the subscription. Gary Oldman in an amazing (and hilarious) role, though this is a thriller and not a comedy.

You’ve got to watch Cobra Kai on Netflix if you watched the Karate Kid movies when you were young.
First couple seasons are fantastic if you were a fan of the movies.
Last three are good as well but get a bit outlandish. Still entertaining though.

I enjoy the crime dramas and there’s not a bunch of feel good programs on my list, but, in my opinion, great storylines and excellent acting. Some are a bit gritty, so show caution with young viewers.

Queens Gambit - 7 episodes
Inventing Anna - 9 episodes
I don’t like series that go on several years although I loved Bosch and Goliath. I got into some British police series too which were really good. Not sure what they are on. You get to learn little British phrases like “gaffer” or “watcha”.
Broadchurch - outstanding
Luther - pretty good
Line of Duty - excellent
